- Back in November of 1986 I had a full-blown OBE where I distinctly remember being out of my body and my soul traveling at a very rapid pace. I suddenly became conscious that I was out of my body and asked Jesus to please help me. At that point, my soul raced by home and I remember going through the front door (I remember trying to knock on the front door as I remember the sound) but my soul went right through the front door. I distinctly remember my soul was about two feet above my body because I rememhber the feeling of being levitated. At that point my soul was sucked right back into my body. I should mention that during that time of my life, I was processing a lot of traumatic events in my life. I was 21 years of age and had suffered from child-hood sexual abuse by my father. I was also viley raped back in October of 1983 by someone I do not know while I was babysitting at someone else's home. I think it is natural for people who have suffered from a lot of trauma to leave their bodies when life becomes too stressful.
I had another experience when I was 26 years old. During the early hours of Monday, December 16, 1991, I had a mystical experience where the Blessed Mother came to me in a dream. The sun was directly behind her and I she was standing right before me. As she raised her hands and eyes upward, she said "God's Love for Us is So Great." As she said those words, I became engulfed in God's light and love. His light filled my entire being and I was filled with JOY. It was as if every aweful negative experiece dissolved in his light. Later on that morning I was in a serious car accident where I hit the steering wheel of the car I was driving. I was avoiding an oncoming truck where the driver was speeding. I was rushed to the hospital where I was operated on for five hours to reconstruct my nose. I also had a blow-out fracture on the right side of my face around the eye area. I guess you can that the mystical experience I had before my accident is what carried me through the trauma of the accident plus the change in my facial features. More importantly I became more inpathic, and had a marked increase in my psychic experiences.
